Hallucinating tree frogs! Newcastle's Dead Flowers spent the better part of a decade playing the clubs & festivals, developing a hard-won reputation as a solid, energetic and above all psychedelic outfit. Lyrically tripped-out, with Ferank Manseed's poetic raps, and pushed into overdrive with grungy overloaded guitar, their 2nd and 3rd albums "Moontan" and "Altered State Circus" are a testament to one of the most creative and inventive bands of the 80s & 90s. Sadly they've now split, but their releases exude a stoned-awareness most bands would die for.
